Terms of Use
Last Updated: January 15, 2025
Welcome to caderonival. By accessing or using our digital banking security education platform, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully. If something doesn't make sense, reach out before you continue.
Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Use constitute a legally binding agreement between you and caderonival. When you access our website, participate in our educational programs, or use any of our services, you're agreeing to follow these rules.
We might update these terms occasionally. When we do, we'll post the changes here with a new date. It's your responsibility to check back now and then. Continuing to use our services after changes means you accept the updated terms.
Educational Services
Our platform provides educational content focused on digital banking security. Here's what you should know about what we offer and what we don't guarantee.
What We Provide
- Educational materials, courses, and resources about digital banking security practices
- Learning programs designed for various skill levels and professional backgrounds
- Access to our online platform and educational content during your enrollment period
- Support from our team regarding course content and platform usage
What We Don't Promise
We're proud of our educational content, but we need to be clear about realistic expectations. We don't guarantee specific career outcomes, job placement, or salary increases. Your success depends on many factors beyond our control, including your effort, prior experience, market conditions, and individual circumstances.
Our courses prepare you with knowledge and skills. What you do with that education is up to you.
Enrollment and Payment
When you enroll in our programs, you're entering into an agreement with specific financial obligations.
Registration Process
You must provide accurate, current information during registration. If your details change, update them promptly. You're responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
Payment Terms
- All fees are listed in Australian dollars and include applicable GST
- Payment is due at the time of enrollment unless alternative arrangements have been agreed upon in writing
- We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and bank transfers through our secure payment processor
- Failed payments may result in suspension of access to course materials
Important: Once you've accessed course materials or attended sessions, refunds may be limited. Check our refund policy carefully before enrolling.
User Responsibilities
Using our platform comes with certain expectations. Most of these are common sense, but we need to spell them out.
Acceptable Use
You agree to use our platform responsibly and legally. That means:
- No sharing your login credentials with others or allowing unauthorized access
- No downloading, copying, or redistributing course materials without permission
- No using our content for commercial purposes or reselling it
- No attempting to hack, disrupt, or interfere with our platform's security or functionality
- No harassing other users, instructors, or our staff
Content Restrictions
Our educational materials are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You can access them for your personal learning, but you can't reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.
Screen recording lectures or downloading course materials for distribution violates these terms and may result in immediate account termination without refund.
Intellectual Property Rights
Everything on this platform belongs to someone. Most of it belongs to us.
Our Content
All course materials, videos, written content, graphics, logos, and software are owned by caderonival or our licensors. They're protected by Australian and international copyright laws. The caderonival name and logo are our trademarks.
Your Content
If you submit content to our platform such as forum posts, project submissions, or feedback, you grant us a non-exclusive license to use, reproduce, and display that content for educational and promotional purposes. You remain the owner of your work.
Privacy and Data Protection
We take your privacy seriously. Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which you should read alongside these terms.
In brief: we collect information necessary to provide our services, we protect it with reasonable security measures, and we don't sell it to third parties. We may use aggregated, anonymized data for research and improvement of our services.
Account Termination
Sometimes relationships don't work out. Here's how account termination works from both sides.
Your Right to Cancel
You can cancel your account at any time by contacting us. Depending on when you cancel and how much of the course you've accessed, you may be eligible for a partial refund according to our refund policy.
Our Right to Terminate
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or disrupt the learning experience for others. In cases of serious violations, termination may be immediate without refund.
Disclaimers and Limitations
This is the legal stuff that protects us from unrealistic expectations.
Service Availability
We strive to keep our platform running smoothly, but we can't guarantee uninterrupted access. Technical issues happen. Maintenance is sometimes necessary. We're not liable for temporary unavailability or technical problems beyond our reasonable control.
Educational Outcomes
Our courses provide valuable knowledge and skills in digital banking security. However, results vary based on individual effort, prior knowledge, learning style, and external factors. We make no guarantees about specific outcomes, career advancement, or earning potential.
Limitation of Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by Australian law, caderonival shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services. Our total liability for any claim related to our services is limited to the amount you paid for those services in the twelve months preceding the claim.
Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantees or rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be lawfully excluded. Where we're liable under the Australian Consumer Law, our liability is limited to resupplying the services or paying the cost of having the services resupplied, at our option.
Dispute Resolution
If something goes wrong, let's try to sort it out reasonably before involving lawyers.
Informal Resolution
If you have a complaint or dispute, contact us first. Most issues can be resolved through direct communication. We'll make a genuine effort to address your concerns fairly and promptly.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any legal proceedings must be brought in the courts of Queensland. By using our services, you consent to the jurisdiction of these courts.
General Provisions
Entire Agreement
These terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any other policies referenced here, constitute the entire agreement between you and caderonival regarding your use of our services.
Severability
If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full effect.
No Waiver
Our failure to enforce any right or provision doesn't constitute a waiver of that right or provision.
Assignment
You can't transfer your rights or obligations under these terms without our written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations to another entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
